334 Durian, Vista, CA

This great little house is located on a large grassy lot. It has been beautifully updated with new kitchen and baths and refinished hardwood floors. An amazing value at $379,000-$420,000. My clients Kate and Robby lovingly restored this house. Great job guys!

1718 Legaye, Cardiff by the Sea, CA

1718 Legaye is my new listing in Cardiff, Ca. It has been completely remodeled and done with the highest quality of materials. On top of the home being amazing, it has a large backyard with a viewing deck for our beautiful sunsets. Oh, did I mention that it has sit down ocean views as well? If you wanted more space you could add a second story and the view would be even more spectacular.

The Haunted "Open House"

flinstones.jpg
A Picture of the Fine/Marazoni's as the Flinstone's (We of course had the theme song with us for trick or treating)

This last weekend I* put on a Haunted "Open House" for our neighborhood. It was an absolute blast. We had fog machines, strobe lights, skeletons and pretty much everything you could think of including dry ice in the fountains and masked people in the bushes. It was so great to see the families come and walk through. We tried really hard to not scare the little ones and just let them enjoy the scene we had set up. Some went more than once, but one little boy(5yrs) went through once with his mom and then made his dad come back so they could go again before he went to bed. I hope he slept okay! I love that he was so excited about what we had put together and it pretty much made it all worth doing.
All of the Fine/Marazoni's were present and taking an active roll in the scaring. Thanks guys!

This last event concluded the series of quarterly events that I have put together for our neighborhood; Rancho Ponderosa. Next, It will be the 2nd Annual Used and New Toy Drive. Wow this year went fast. Anyway, all Rancho Ponderosa residents keep an eye out for the bags and tags that will be showing up on your doorstep. We will be taking all the toys down to an orphanage in Tijuana where they are much needed and appreciated.

*I set these events up but couldn't do it without my husband Greg and our family and friends that pitch in on a regular basis

My Events Plan for Rancho Ponderosa

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

My name is Kristen Fine and my husband and I have been residents of Rancho Ponderosa for over seven years now—you may have seen us out jogging, playing with kids at the park, or playing soccer. We both grew up in this area and love this neighborhood. We can’t think of a better community to raise our family in. Although I’ve been a realtor for many years now and have sold homes from La Jolla to Oceanside, I haven’t focused on my own neighborhood. My goal now is to do the majority of my work close to home.

What better place to start than my own backyard? With this goal in mind, I have decided to put my marketing budget into beneficial events for Rancho Ponderosa, like the one I held this past December. Many of you and your families donated gently used toys, and I delivered two big carloads of toys to an orphanage in Tijuana. Thanks to your generosity, the holiday was brighter for many young children who have little to call their own.

Rather than send you multiple “trash mailers” each month, I am planning four events a year that will contribute to our community. The next event is a “Dumpster Dump” for all those large items you have to throw away but won’t be picked up by our trash service (please, no toxic or electronic waste). Our summer event will be a “Play Day in the Park”. We’ll have games to play and a jumpie as well as an opportunity to support the Susan G. Komen Foundation by purchasing hot dogs and drinks. If you have other ideas and suggestions, I’d love to hear them.

I look forward to getting to know all of my neighbors personally and being your Rancho Ponderosa Realtor of choice.

Best wishes,

Kristen Fine

After the Fires

So my work has kind of been put on hold this week but it is nothing compared to the people who have lost their homes and had their lives in caos. My heart goes out to all of them. I can't imagine what it would feel like to lose everything. My thoughts and prayers are with all of the people affected by this tragedy.
